September 2012

New Dinosaur Jr, new Wild Nothing, new Woods, new Bob Mould, Toys debut album, seeing Bo Ningen play in a hotel room and going to Festival No 6 has made for an epic month.

Finally getting my hands on Easter's "Innocence Man" was exciting and I had no idea just how good it was going to be. It totally blew me away - probably the most ambitious record I've heard from any local band. Seriously go and buy it --> here. I havn't included it on the comp. You'll have to trust me or try it out on Spotify.

Elsewhere, I've been checking out more Yo La Tengo records (all amazing), finally getting into Chavez's Ride The Fader and revisiting Sonic Youth's Sonic Nurse LP.

Enjoy...
